Inspired By Nature And Animals, Rose Poon Creates Uplifting Art


Animals and nature play a large part in Rose Poon's art


Rose Poon is a Chinese-Canadian and a disabled cartoonist and illustrator based in

Vancouver, BC.


Rose has participated in local and national art exhibitions and presented an

artist talk live on stage and online. Rose works in computer, watercolor, and gouache paint.


Rose’s favourite subjects to draw are children, nature, and animals. Her love for animals

began as early as the age of 4 when Rose and her brother got a family German Shepherd

puppy.


Rose is fond of dogs for their friendliness. During her free time, Rose goes for hot

cocoa or coffee and on nature walks
